Pink Ladies

This is the last PINK poppy that will bloom also this year, it has survived the frost so we shall see in th next couple of days whether it full blooms or not.
Shopping at Safeway with my two granddaughters, Josie on the right who just moved with her mom Jaimie to live with me for a while until her job is secured, and Taegan on the left and her mom is Clarisa who lives not far away--about an hour. She has spent the night a couple of times since Jaimie has come. The cousins as they are happy to call each other get along famously..
Digging potatoes with Jaimie.

Hello Ladies !!!! Happy PINK SATURDAY and happy sabbath to you all! I am so thankful for this day after working hard all week at work, travelling back and forth for two hours return, - I must be getting old or something- haha- it is hard getting up at 5:30 am and back at seven to get up and do the same thing again for the next days...............

On Friday I rearranged the whole house in preparation for my eldest daughter and her six year old who is coming from Saskatoon to live with me for a while until she gets settled in her work as a hairdresser and esthitician. I am a little excited and I think it should go well. Jaimie is a wonderful person and i will get to know Josie again. She loves pink as do both of my grand daughters. And they love dolls too which for some reason my two daughters don't!!!!!! But at least it has passed off in their offspring!!!!

Here are a couple of pink things for today..................

magazines to look at...............

and pink towels...................

Pink paper and a tiny rose for a nice hug from a great little girl.................

borders of roses to wrap it all up.

Psalms 31:25 ~~ I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. 26. He is ever merciful, and lendeth and his seed is blessed.

The Lord is wonderful and blessed and praise be to His name!

Even the moon had a pink tone to it last night. The first clear sky in a long time.............. HAPPY PINK SATURDAY EVERYONE

Isaiah 56

Salvation for Others

1 This is what the LORD says: "Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man who does this, the man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil."
3 Let no foreigner who has bound himself to the LORD say, "The LORD will surely exclude me from his people." And let not any eunuch complain, "I am only a dry tree."
4 For this is what the LORD says: "To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant-
5 to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.
6 And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to serve him, to love the name of the LORD, and to worship him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant-
7 these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations."
8 The Sovereign LORD declares— he who gathers the exiles of Israel: "I will gather still others to them besides those already gathered."

happy pink saturday

WELCOME to the sabbath day again and to a glimpse of what taegan and i did yeasterday...we had a tea party in the morning with my favorite expresso cups.....she loves tea. and then below she found flowers and pulled them off the pictues that were sitting around in a stored box tat wasn't put awaw!! .....putting a nice touch to her hair.....she says...I love flowers grandma! Well! how can you resist that , but it was a little harder getting a nice picture.....and of course she is wearing PINK!......

the other day i took this picture on the way to work, you can see hopefully the pink tints in the was pretty in real!OUR DESTINY

the samaritan woman brought a whole city to know Jesus and as women of today we do the same thing in our daily efforts to raise our families, work, play, interactions with others and even on the internet.....and so i shall pray for women all over the world tonight that we will have the strength and wisdom to know Christ........

"The Lord has a work for women as well as for men to do. They can accomplish a good work for God, if they will learn first in the school of Christ the precious, all-important lesson of meekness. They must not only bear the name of Christ, but possess His spirit."—Ellen G. White, North Pacific Union Gleaner, December 4, 1907.

my turn for potluck again and ihave made a zucchini/onion casserole with cheese on top, huge green salad and a mango cheesecake that was pictured before......
