FOODIE FRIDAY ~~ fRENCH vEGGIE qUICHE
This is the first time for FOODIE FRIDAY, and the recipe i made today turned out so good and rich and full of veggies you can use from the fridge of things you need to use right away, good enough for a country meal or rich repast for a mansion.
start out with a
Cornmeal Crust
1 cup flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
scant tsp of salt
1/4 cup softened margarine forked fine in the flour
one egg with 1 1/2 tbsp water
rolled out to a perfect quater inch on white butchers paper and then draped over a glass pie plate
French Quiche
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
with sprinkling of salt and pepper
in the blender
Saute
small leek, small zuccini, ends of asparagras
slice all , add water to fry pan, drain
Layer
of crumbled goat cheese
sauted vegies
cream custard
Bake 350 for 20-25 minutes
very yummy!!

That looks divine! I love goat cheese:)
Welcome to your very first Foodie Friday. What a gorgeous quiche you've made--you have hit a homerun with this post. I absolutely love your idea of a cornmeal crust--I've never, ever tried that. This is an absolute treasure of a recipe. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Wow, what a delicious recipe! I am a HUGE quiche fan and this looks so healthy. I haven't tried a base made of cornmeal so I will have to try that next time.
Thanks for visiting my blog the other day-it is so nice to "meet" you and I look forward to visiting you again soon.
Best wishes,
Natasha.
